Suzanne Slate

“Looking to find our forever home, we had become increasingly frustrated talking to realtors who really didn't understand what we were looking for, or said they would help us and then we never heard back from them. Even worse, they would send us emails with listings that didn't even come close to what we requested. But that changed when we met Suzanne Slate. We didn't get a long list of homes that didn't fit our needs or a lot of nonsense about what they think we would like in a home. Suzanne is warm and compassionate. She listened to us, kept in contact, and took a personal interest in helping us find a home that we would love. She was a true professional and you could tell that she loves making people happy. Suzanne went above and beyond our expectations and it became more of a joy looking at homes rather than a tedious chore. To put it simply, if you're looking to find your happy place, call Suzanne - - you'll be glad you did!”

“Suzanne Slate of Echo Properties was assigned the task of selling our property in the Palm Beach Gardens, Florida community of Steeplechase. Our two prior realtors, while highly competent, were unable to generate an offer nor interest in our property. To begin, Suzanne and her team at Echo implemented a solid, comprehensive sales marketing approach relating to our property.Surprisingly, Suzanne oversaw each marketing approach with unique insight to create buyer interest in our residence. Second, Suzanne politely conveyed to us subtle, non-obvious recommendations to facilitate improvement within the residence. Within months of our listing, Hurricane Irma visited our area. Unashamed, Suzanne worked tirelessly showing our home, at all hours, to include numerous open houses. Soon, Suzanne secured an offer and additional showings, upon proper notice, were too numerous to count. Impressively, Suzanne, not another realtor from or within her team, attended each showing. Feedback, positive, neutral, or negative, was shared with us so we were aware sooner than later what, if any, price adjustments or property showing recommendations were necessary. Next, unforeseen circumstances created additional barriers to the sale of our home. Suzanne, instead of quitting or becoming frustrated, “shifted” into a problem-solving speed dial realtor. Suzanne had an answer, not excuse, for each hurdle we had to overcome to implement the sale of our home of fifteen years. Many real estate sensitive issues developed that Suzanne guided us through in a concise, calm yet no-nonsense fashion that dispelled anxious moments that existed during our listing, due to the actions of other realtors or interested prospects. In the end, we now are proceeding to a real estate closing that would not have occurred without Suzanne as our realtor.Beyond her unmatched expertise, Suzanne possesses a client first approach that allows her to respond to weekend, evening, Holiday, or vacation inquiries from her clients. To be clear, the only time Suzanne was not at a house showing or open house, was when she was out of state on vacation. In each instance, without fail, Suzanne, while out of state, provided instant feedback on each showing and open house. In short, Suzanne was uninterested in discussing her or her team’s needs. Instead, Suzanne and Echo were relentless in their desire to assist their clients without regard to the energy, time, or expense affiliated with this endeavor from their end. Without reservation, if you wish a responsive, intellectual, humble, attentive, compassionate, and professional realtor, choose Suzanne and her team at Echo Properties. If not, hope you can locate someone somewhere who might equal Suzanne’s business real estate acumen, passion, energy, and even-keeled approach to educating and serving your real estate needs. We endorse Suzanne Slate and Echo Properties as the “go-to” Northern Palm Beach County realtor(s). ”

“In all career fields, there are only a small number of people that truly stand out. Suzanne Slate is one of those individuals. She is far more than a seasoned real estate salesperson. Suzanne is an expert in the area of interior/exterior decoration. She knows the market and what buyers are looking for. Suzanne is a coach. She led us through a process of continuous improvement and remained engaged to the end. Suzanne has an invaluable list of service providers that are reliable and quick to respond. She managed all of the services we needed. Suzanne will go above and beyond the expectations of a realtor. She is hands-on, has an exceptional knowledge of the market and will personally attend to anything you need. My recommendation, do exactly what she says.”

“This letter will serve as our letter of recommendation for Real Estate Agent Suzanne Slate. When you hire Suzanne you’re not just receiving a great broker but also a friend. We can’t say enough about her professionalism and knowledge within the industry always keeping the clients best interests in mind. “We want to express our appreciation for the professionalism that we found in working with Suzanne Slate this spring in finding us our forever winter home! At the end of our vacation in the area, we decided it was the right time to look for a permanent place for ourselves in Juno Beach. We contacted Suzanne (who had been recommended to us by friends) one evening and the next day, our last day in town, she had several places for us to look at. Suzanne was knowledgeable, pleasant, and, in a very short period of time, was able to find homes that met our criteria. We did not waste time on places too large or small, or over budget. Rather, she listened to us and found us the perfect listings to look at. By the end of that day, we had put in an offer on one of the homes and closed within a couple of weeks. There are many realtors. Some are weekend hobbyists and do not really know the markets, the histories of specific listings, or information about specific buildings that buyers should and needs to know. Suzanne is the opposite. She has been in the business for a number of years and her experience shows. Even after we closed on the home, she has continued to assist us at the property and continues to take an interest in us as clients and friends. We cannot give a higher recommendation about her as she is a rare real estate professional. ”

“David and I would like to personally thank you for your outstanding assistance in selling our Steeplechase Palm Beach Gardens investment/rental home. Over the years we have bought and sold multiple home in many states and never found an agent as dedicated to the job as you. By any measure you are "hands down" the most outstanding real estate broker we have ever worked with. You demonstrate professionalism, honesty and integrity that are truly "above and beyond." Unlike many of your contemporaries you communicated frequently and effectively to us, your clients, and with other participants. From the interview when we first met, it was obvious that you would be helpful, comfortable to work with and were very knowledgeable about the real estate market and how to sell a home. Compared to another interview with a competitor realtor, your approach reduced our anxiety while the other increased it. Your idea about pre-listing before we did some preparation led to a waiting list to see the house. It also led to other fabulous consequences such as record visits on listing day, and multiple full price offers. As a result, the house sold in a very timely manner. From helping us to get the home ready to list, establish a realistic selling price, working through on the inspections and assisting in work details, your service was extraordinary. You always kept us in the loop and were with us every step of the way in a totally professional manner from its inception to its conclusion. Our home selling journey wasn’t exactly straight forward with the COVID 19 pandemic as well as our Homeowners Associations new property manager and strict never before practiced rules enforcement. I am not sure we would have completed the sale without you by our side. Your recommended service people did needed work with a quick turn around and at an affordable price, and you even pitched in to help get the job done. Tradespeople are very busy in our area now and it normally takes us weeks for them to schedule and get a job done. The jobs were done right and on time. Thank you for your hard work and diligence along the way. We have been in customer interfacing businesses for over 50 years and have experienced all levels of customer service. You were on top of every detail and made what could have been a difficult experience painless and seamless. You are a true professional who sets your clients interests and concerns as a top priority. You surely must realize the extent of your efforts. We just did not want you to think it passed by us unnoticed. For all this and more we are truly grateful and want to repeat "Thank You!" ”

“When we first met Mrs. Suzanne Slate, she wasn't our real-time. We came with another lady, but mean by the negotiation, it was for us clear that our counterpart, Mrs. Susan Slate is a very smart lady. By the time in this negotiation, We were convinced that we only had to deal with a slate, not with our real deal. Because she knows very well the real estate market, she knows very well how to make all the arrangements that are necessary for good, perfect, done, or deal done. She was, by the way, not very smart, very helpful even after the deal. And it is a pleasure to be with her because she is a lady. After the first deal where we have met Mrs. Slate, we had other real estate negotiations. And we always in touch with her for any question we have about real estate because she is very competent and now she is our realtor. We wouldn't change her for anybody else. That is a perfect realtor as you would like to have it. A realtor, no book. By this way I will take the opportunity to say thanks. Thank you very much, Mrs. Slate, for your excellent way to pave and for your excellent manner how to pave our way to a new comb. More or less like this, I would like to make a statement about your beauty, but I don't know how to put it in, to bring it in. But when you tell it to me, you'll make it fine, I will do it again. I would like to underwrite that you are very, very smart. That's easy and lovely to deal with you. that we won't change anymore realtor and this is a pleasure it's easy going to buy a house with you yeah okay so i hope that We will help you. For us, it's a prudent and nothing wanted to lose. And I can swear all each word with the Bible, with the left hand on the Bible. And the right heart, the right hand, the heart. Happy to see you tomorrow. Have you wonderful evening.”

“Suzanne Slate was recommended to me by one of my nextdoor neighbors. My 4 brothers and myself inheirited my parents home and we needed to sell it. We had a current realtor who was a friend of one of my brothers. He was not able to get it sold and the rest of us were not happy. Suzanne came over and met all of us and right away we knew she was the perfect fit. She was knowledgeable, presented herself well and knew the market. All of us agreed to let her take over the listing. This was not an easy task as the home was original from back in the early 80s but the land is beautiful on a wide canal. We got several low ball offers but Suzanne stuck to her guns and in the end she got us all to agree on the final price. I want to point out that is was very difficult to get 5 siblings that are so different to agree on anything. She had 5 way conversations and side bar conversations and was able to get us to come together and finalize the sale. She is AMAZING! Her personality and smarts were impressive and I would use her again if I ever need a realtor. ”

“I am writing to highly recommend Suzanne Slate as a realtor. She was recommended to us by my in-laws, and from the moment we connected with her, Suzanne went above and beyond to make om home-buying experience seamless and enjoyable. Suzanne was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. She asked all the right questions, negotiated skillfully on our behalf, and maintained great communication with the listing agents of every home we toured. Her ability to build connections and carry meaningful conversations stood out and helped us feel confident throughout the process. Our move from Pennsylvania to Florida added complexity to our search, but Suzanne handled it with ease. She remained in constant contact, consistently sending us listings and carefully planning everything for the one weekend we were able to visit before om move. Thanks to her organization and dedication, we were able to find and purchase our dream home during that short window. Suzanne is truly a pleasure to work with, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. ”

She was always a step ahead, always extremely prepared and always available 24/7! “When the time came lo sell our home of almost 25 years, we Interviewed several realtors who had experience with our type of property. We had almost 2 acres of land, a large home with a guest house. One realtor was not realistic in his pricing, the other person just didn't have the right answers lo our questions. Suzanne checked all of our boxes and we felt so comfortable with her. She walked us through the entire process. We were able to close in a timely manner, which was so important since we were moving abroad. Suzanne is trustworthy and knowledgeable ln her field. She works hard for her clients and presents the home and property to sell. Suzanne knows the housing market and will get the Job done with ease for the customer's piece of mind. She's a great realtor and we highly recommend her. ”

“Suzanne was an awesome realtor! She went over and above the endless calls I made asking to see a home again snd again. I was looking for a one story home with a little Iand, over in Steeplechase where she had a listing. My husband did not want a home over 10 years old. We had a house that was much big9er and I wanted to downsize. We were on a mission to find the perfect home. Finally we saw the home we are currently living in. Suzanne made it happen with her expertise and hands on skills, I have worked with other Realtors and she Is by far the best I have ever had. She ls now my great friend and neighbor. I would recommend tier to anyone looking for the perfect home and lifestyle. ”

“Suzanne Slate was my Realtor in Horseshoe Acres on an investment property. I have been remodeling my personal home for the past year. Suzanne walks every morning, and we chat when she sees me. I mentioned to her to keep an eye out for a property either in Horseshoe or Steeplechase to renovate and sell. Well she took that and ran with it. She immediately went into Realtor mode. There was a home in Horseshoe Acres that was recently on the market and a bit overpriced. She used her negotiating skills and knowledge of the real estate market to get me that home at the price I was willing to pay for it. We also discussed the numbers of estimated costs for remodeling and what it would sell for finalized. I bought the home and am currently renovating. She stops by frequently and gives me her professional thoughts on what I have planned for the final product. She has made a huge impact on this project as she has pointed out things I may need to change according to what buyers are looking for in todays market and where the sale price needs to be for it to sell quickly. I can't say enough of how grateful my wife and myself are with her. I highly recommend Suzanne to any Seller or Buyer in today's market. ”

“Suzanne Slate has been my realtor for over 6 years. She sold 2 of my homes in Steeplechase both at the highest priced sales at the time. She also found me 2 homes in Ballenlsles as investments to resell after renovations. She managed all the contractors from beginning to end. Her expertise and attention to detail is by far the finest I have ever encountered in all my years of commercial and residential real estate. I also purchased I thought my forever home in PGA and after a year decided it was not for me. Suzanne always kept in touch not only as a realtor but also a friend. She looked behind the scenes and when she found the perfect home, she presented it to me and I bought it. I would recommend Suzanne to anyone looking to buy or sell. She is passionate in her career and it certainly shows. ”

“Back In 2018 my husband and I decided to sell our home in Hilton Head, SC and spend our winters in a warmer climate . We decided to rent in South FL to see how we would like the vibe. Suzanne took the time to listen to our preferences which included a rental that would allow our sweet dog and began to find us excellent choices. 2019 rental was superb, on to 2020 and she found us another beautiful home to rent. We had a few glitches during season and Suzanne was right on top of each and every one. She handled our issues with the home and the homeowner with a professional, diplomatic and calm matter making everything perfect. She was always immediately accessible and willing to go above and beyond to keep all parties involved happy. In 2020, Suzanne found us the condo of our dreams on Hutchinson Island. We can never thank her enough for her diligence. In addition, Suzanne always shared outstanding suggestions for restaurants, shopping and fun things to do in the area We have referred prospective buyers and sellers to Suzanne over the past few years knowing full well that she will handle each and every client with respect, attention and professionalism .. She most definitely has a pulse on her areas and her desire to please and find one what one is looking for is outstanding. I would never hesitate to recommend Suzanne for any real estate needs, wants or advice. Her passion for people and her job is beyond compare.”

“Suzanne was fantastic from the initial planning stages to the final walkthrough of my new construction home. She was consistently knowledgeable, responsive, and truly invested in making sure everything went smoothly and was completed to my satisfaction. Suzanne made herself available to help throughout every step of the builder's process. She took the time to explain my options clearly, advocated for my best interests during negotiations, and wasn't afraid to ask the tough questions to keep the builders accountable. New construction can be overwhelming, but Suzanne made me feel confident and informed every step of the way. I always felt like I had someone in my corner who genuinely cared about my concerns and wouldn't give up until I was satisfied with the results. I couldn't recommend her more highly to anyone considering purchasing a home and in search of a wonderful realtor! ”

“It’s my pleasure to recommend Suzanne Slate and share the wonderful experience I had working with her. Suzanne is a very close friend, and for years, I would ask her, "When ls the best time to sell my home?" She never pushed-she simply stayed in touch, was incredibly patient, and waited until I was ready. Just before COVlD, I finally said, "I think it's time," and the next thing I knew, her sign was in my yard. Within two hours, I had a contract over asking price. I was shocked. I had owned my home for over 40 years and had no idea what selling entailed. About two weeks into the contract, Suzanne asked when! planned to start moving. I told her I thought I had 30 to 45 days after closing----and she looked at me wide-eyed and said, ''No, you have two weeks from now!" From there, she jumped into action. She got me a storage unit, a truck, and rallied help so we could move everything out in lime to close. I also wanted to buy a home in Georgia, and Suzanne coordinated everything with a local agent there. I closed in Georgia shortly after closing in Florida. What felt like a stressful, oven-whelming process was made manageable because Suzanne worked tirelessly behind the scenes lo keep everything moving. She truly made it all happen. ”

Jerry Russell

“Suzanne was referred to me by another amazing realtor, Mary Nangle, to assist in renting my home in PGA. Suzanne has gone above and beyond. I entrusted Suzanne in having my best interest in mind, but she has also taken on tasks I never would have imagined. She assisted in choosing a new washer, made herself available to meet with vendors (handymen, appliance repairs, AC) as l am based in NY. Suzanne also offered to check in on the renters from time to lime to make sure my home is being cared for appropriately. I am so grateful to work with Suzanne and hope to for years to come. ”

Sam Toler
